Emad Gobran, MD

 Founder and Medical Director

Dr. Gobran is a dedicated and highly skilled nephrologist committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered kidney care. With advanced training in the diagnosis and management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, dialysis therapies, and complex electrolyte disorders, Dr. Gobran combines clinical expertise with a compassionate approach. He takes the time to listen, educate, and partner with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans that support long-term health. Known for a thorough, thoughtful, and collaborative style, Dr. Gobran works closely with primary care providers and specialists to ensure seamless, comprehensive care at every stage of kidney health. 

Dr. Gobran received his Medical degree from University of Alexandria in 2006, He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Coney Island Hospital, Brooklyn where he was named “The best Resident of the Year” for two consecutive years. Then, he joined Staten Island University Hospital for Nephrology Fellowship.

Dr. Gobran is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.

Elie El-Charabaty, M.D., FASN

Board-Certified Nephrologist | Assistant Professor | Fellowship-Trained Specialist
Dr. Elie El-Charabaty is a board-certified nephrologist with over 15 years of experience in kidney care, dialysis management, and complex renal disorders. He completed his medical degree with highest honors at the Lebanese University Faculty of Medicine and pursued advanced training in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at Staten Island University Hospital.
Dr. El-Charabaty is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Nephrology. He holds active medical licenses in New York and New Jersey. His clinical expertise spans chronic kidney disease, electrolytes disorders, hypertension, dialysis modalities—including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis—and kidney transplantation.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. El-Charabaty has served as Nephrology Fellowship Director at Staten Island University Hospital and is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He has received multiple awards for excellence in teaching and patient care, including the Thomas McGinn Excellence in Teaching Physician Award and recognition as one of New York’s Top Nephrologists.
Dr. El-Charabaty is an active member of the American Society of Nephrology. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on topics such as dialysis innovations, kidney transplantation, and renal complications in systemic diseases.
